The Nameless (coming Oct 2018) is set in the human world in a wooded park. This corner of Earth flourishes under the care of its faerie occupant, becoming less like the rest of the non-magical human world and more like the world of Faerie, more alive.
Faerie is a world bordering the human one, but faeries rarely enter the human world, and humans don’t know of the existence of Faerie. Long ago, the two races mingled. The faeries gifted much to the humans, including their language and the magic underlying the natural world around them. As time went on, the humans grew away from the world around them, and the faeries withdrew to their own world, developing a distaste for the non-magical race.
Now, the faeries prefer to use the human world as a place to send outcasts and nothing more.
But it is possible for faeries with enough magic to travel between the worlds. And the human world, being mostly ignored by those of Faerie, is the perfect place for devious minds to gather and plan.
