(Blurb and cover taken from Goodreads)

Official blurb:

Alexis and Molly return to the Faery Realm, this time to confront monsters. Mutated creatures that move through the Wilds are endangering the fae and threatening the balance of the Realm. Meanwhile, another kind of monster is stalking Molly at home, sending her twisted little gifts as signs of his affection. With their problems bleeding into the Mortal Realm, Alexis and Molly have no choice but to fight back. Teaming up with the fae Monarchs, the girls venture into the Unseelie Court to find a way to defeat these demons. However, their new allies are just as frightening as the beasts they will be facing …

My rating: five stars out of five

This is the second book in Ridge’s Faery Realm series.

My favorite part about this book was that you got to go deeper into the Faery Realm! As someone who loves magic and otherworldly settings, this was quite exciting for me. The best part was being introduced to the rulers of the other courts and more of the details of how the other fae lived.

Both Molly and Alexis, and occasionally Keir, had their own points of view in this one. I think it worked out very well, giving the reader a chance to see different perspectives. After book one, I wanted to find out more about Molly’s story, and Ridge delivered that quite well in this book.

The main cast of characters drew me in, as with the first book. The dynamic between the fae, part fae, and elves was very interesting and real. It made it hard to put down the book. And I loved the side characters that were introduced. I’m excited to see what parts they will play in future novels.

And Keir is still my book boyfriend. He made me chuckle so many times while reading this book.

So, lovers of magic and fae and everything otherworldly, go read this book!

And if you need to read Between Worlds (Faery Realm #1) still:
